The better your WIFI network, the more efficient your home office. So maximise your signal strength and minimise interference with a little wireless feng shui.
(a) Place large furniture along the exterior walls of your home
(b) Minimise mirrors which can bounce the signal back
Position your router:
(1) Near the centre of the house
(2) Off the floor, ideally on a high shelf
(3) As far as possible from your neighbors WIFI router (which of course you've made sure you're using a different channel)
(4) Away from cordless phones and microwave which operate on the same 2.4 GHZ frequency
